About the film
SYNOPSIS
Released from prison, Eeva returns to her old home town to look for her grown-up daughter where she soon finds out that she is not welcome. Her search becomes desperate but at the time of retreat, against all assumptions, she finds a helping hand from a yellow van. A Mother by Samppa Batal is a heart-breaking
story of loneliness, humanity and hope. Above all, it is a movie of a woman being a mother.
